Annual enrollment is $30 per 4-H member, $10 per Clover Kid, and $10 per volunteer. Some clubs, projects, camps, and special events may have additional fees depending on the activity. We strive to keep 4-H affordable, and scholarships are available for many county programs.

Yes! New members are welcome throughout the 4-H year. The Texas 4-H enrollment year follows the school year, and enrollment opens each year on September 1. All youth and volunteers must re-enroll annually to continue participating in 4-H.

Not at all! While livestock is a popular part of 4-H, most members are involved in projects that don't require animals. Options include robotics, STEM, photography, cooking, gardening, public speaking, leadership, shooting sports, natural resources, fashion, healthy living, and much more.

You get out of 4-H what you put into it. At a minimum, most members attend one club meeting and one to two project meetings each month. From there, families can choose to become more involved through contests, camps, leadership opportunities, community service, and special events based on their interests and schedule.
