COUNTY AMBASSADORS

The Denton County 4-H County Ambassador Program is the premier youth leadership team of Denton County 4-H. County Ambassadors serve as the official representatives of our program, promoting 4-H throughout the community while developing advanced leadership, communication, and public speaking skills.

Selected through an annual application and interview process, Ambassadors are experienced 4-H members who have demonstrated a commitment to leadership, service, and the values of 4-H. Throughout the year, they represent Denton County 4-H at community events, educational programs, recruitment activities, county functions, and special events. They also mentor younger members, welcome new families, and help showcase the many opportunities available through 4-H.

The purpose of the County Ambassador Program is to:

• Develop confident leaders and effective communicators.

• Promote a positive and accurate image of Denton County 4-H.

• Recruit and welcome new members and families.

• Educate the public about the impact and opportunities of the 4-H Youth Development Program.

• Encourage service, leadership, and civic engagement throughout our community.

County Ambassadors are more than representatives—they are leaders who inspire others through service, character, and a passion for making a difference. Their dedication helps ensure that Denton County 4-H continues to grow and provide meaningful opportunities for youth to become Beyond Ready for life.
